About

“Diseases can be our spiritual flat tires—
disruptions in our lives that seem to be disasters at the time,
but end by redirecting our lives in a meaningful way.”
 Bernie Siegel, M.D.

Our Mission

One Day Living is a non-profit organization focused on providing daily living necessities to working families currently experiencing a life-threatening illness, connecting these families with other survivors and supporting them through the ordeal. We highlight the successes of positive outcomes of survivors through supportive, educational and inspirational seminars and materials while raising money through community involvement to benefit families affected by a serious illness.

Our Vision

Our vision is to grow by partnering with individuals and businesses for the purpose of meeting the daily needs of families currently experiencing a life-threatening illness while introducing them to a community of survivors and their caregivers where they will find an interactive and supportive group. We focus on building relationships with others who can relate and celebrating second chances through positive outcomes. This is done by:

  • Networking with other community organizations
  • Hosting  fundraising events
  • Sponsoring and delivering educational and inspirational programs
  • Partnering with businesses, health and wellness communities and other charities

 The One Day Living Difference

  • We assist working families currently undergoing treatment for a life-threatening illness with necessities of life by providing products and services essential to meeting daily living needs.
  • We focus on the outcome of survival by encouraging survivors and caregivers to share their stories and accomplishments since their struggle. We call this “celebrating second chances.”
  • We encourage individuals to get involved by caring for others.
