This economy has many people feelingĀ out of sortsĀ because our financial situations are unstable; however, we continue to hope that this recession will turn around sooner rather than later. With that said, recessions can be good times for learning what we are made of because we are forced to reprioritize and evaluate what’s most important to us as we tighten our belts and dig deeper to work harder.
It is also a time to keep our perspective. At One Day Living, we are thankful for the resources that we are accumulating in this trying financial time because we are helping people whose very lives are hanging in the balance due to life-threatening illnesses. There is a Proverb that says “He who refreshes others will himself be refreshed” and we have found this to be true so we invite you to partner with us for our Drive for $5 campaign to raise money for a family whose father and husband is currently fighting brain cancer. To learn more about this family and our mission to help them, check out our web site at www.onedayliving.org and click on Drive for $5. We hope that you will be refreshed by sharing with One Day Living and this family.
